Heading into the coldness

Even with good intentions, I have failed to become a blogger. Now that Winter is arriving, maybe I can revisit the idea of blogging on a regular basis. I would like to set a theme or special topic to blog about instead of the random thoughts that I describe as "cerebral dysentery".

There is enough people out there reviewing local cuisine and pubs. As well as those reviewing the local music scene. I don't get out enough to attempt that.

This is going to take some thought, and most importantly, some action.

Hey, how have you been?

I have not been here in a long time. If I am to learn how to blog, I must blog, correct? Making the time to blog is another thing.

Things in Nordeast have been fairly quiet. Better weather will likely bring more disturbing behavior. It usually does.

City inspections are commencing soon, so, I am looking forward to seeing some of the blighted properties getting a few write-ups.

Looking forward to Art-A-Whirl and am wondering what will be new this year.

I know, this blog entry is sucking canal water...so, I will stop for now.

Truck vs. Power Poles

To the dude who was smart enough to leave his dump truck bed in the "up" position after unloading some wood chips at the Marshall Terrace Community Garden, I have some lovely spoiled food in my fridge for you!

Fireworks

My dog hates fireworks...and gunshots. I am all for fireworks. Loved them as a kid and always wished we had access to them and envied the folks in the Dakota's because they could buy things that would explode. Here is the hitch. Now that they are readily available to all via those fireworks superstores across the border in Wisconsin, we now have people blowing them off at all hours of the day and night, and not in July. The thing is, my brain in a sleepy state, cannot tell if those "pops" I hear are fireworks, or gunshots. Gunshots resonate over the river from North Minneapolis into Nordeast, not that we do not have gunshots orginating in Nordeast, but you get my point. I implore Mayor R.T. to address these parallel issues...so we can just complain about the fireworks.

Blogs, Frogs, Dogs...Clogs

Is it just me, or does the warm weather cause some people to suddenly become insomniacs and wander the neighborhoods talking at the top of their lungs?
